The client’s challenge was that they needed someone with commercial experience to manage their key item supplies across Asian regions.
I provided commercial contract management, stakeholder engagement and developed partnership arrangements with suppliers.
Improving performance
This led to a significant improvement of critical IT supplier performance - taking them from underperforming to performing well - as well as a strengthening of the relationship with the senior management.
I managed suppliers internationally across: eight countries and forty lines of business with a multi-million dollar spend.
Other key benefits included: cost reduction, better supplier + performance management and improving business satisfaction with the key suppliers.
