Our client was looking to update its certificate validation system - by building and implementing software to be used as electronic documentation for the multitude of vessels assigned to them.
Previous attempts to provide a customised solution for their engineers had proved unsuccessful, with poor engagement in the project and no real working processes in place.
Delivering success
I was brought in to improve the reputation of the project. I built trust and engagement with the senior stakeholders and synthesised thousands of requirements into a structure around what a release pattern might look like.
Once the systems were in place and had fallen into a regular cadence, I was able to hand it over to BAU.
By embedding a proper, agile delivery process, I was able to deliver the project on time and with predictable outcomes.
