The client needed someone to look at their policies, procedures and mechanisms and identify what changes were needed in line with a regulatory requirement across all aspects of their business.

I worked with my team on site in the client office with the second line of defence - working through any regulation issues, managing a team on a day to day basis, ensuring clear comms of progress blockers and other items out to senior management teams.

Mitigating risks

We put together a series of process of procedures for multiple second line of defence teams - defining solutions and designing all the physical reporting outputs.

We were able to offer a speed to service - the ability to get in, understand what the question was and build an approach in a very quick time both for the board and out to the regulator and then take steps to execute the plan.

One of the benefits of being ‘a third party to the business’ and working under the Parceman Hill banner was the ability to be objective in our appraisal of the changes that were needed to comply with the regulation.

Our swift, high-level and competent service at a very competitive price point, allowed the client to be compliant without having to overpay to be compliant.
